LANDSCAPES OF THE SIERRA

I live in a beautiful environment. The mountains, rivers, creeks, woods, meadows and flowers are a constant inspiration for me. Even the dryness and great heat in summer, and even the wildfires provide an impetus to create. On my hikes I capture what catches my eye with the camera as well as all my senses in mindfulness and use the images as reference for my nature experience in the studio. Imagination and my love of colors and textures does the rest.

This showcase is for my travels in the US and other countries as well. Not only other countries, but maybe as far reaching as the multiverse and imaginary realms. It is an exciting work in progress inspired by dream images and mind travels. I hope you will check in from time to time to see what comes up.
