NEW ABSTRACT paintings FROM 2017

My new abstract work created in the foothills of the Sierra reflects the beauty around me and also addresses nature in a universal way. I express the vibrancy of spring, the intense heat of summer, the brittle dryness of fall and the soothing moisture of winter. While I love to work large, my new, more intricate style, lends itself better to midsize and smaller canvasses. Experiencing nature through my paintings gives me a sense of being at the right place at the right time.
